Prior to the Covid pandemic we had been living for four months in Castrovillari. It is a dull, nothing-to-do town with only one other homeschooling family (and we only found them in the last couple of weeks before we left - if only they'd been on the WorldSchooling Hub Map!).
There was also nothing to do during the day as everything for kids was shut (since they were all at school) only opening later in the evening (when our kids were having dinner and starting the bed routine!). There was only one park and it was often shut during the day too!
As a result, our kids became very isolated and spent most days at home in our apartment.
So when the lockdown came...it wasn't much different for us!
But, just because we've been doing things a certain way for the past 6-odd months, doesn't mean we can't learn new things and get new ideas for what to do whilst we're all stuck at home!
How have you and your kids been coping?
Have you added or changed anything to your normal home routines that has helped?
Any ideas you can share with everyone?
